Weekend Cat Blogging: Cat Girl
And now for something a little different: a cat, a girl, a catgirl.
In celebration of Morganna coming to live with us, I post a picture of her from five years ago, when we lived in Maryland. She was visiting us, and we had just bought her her “bad kitty” hoodie. She wanted to pose wearing it next to our poster of a vintage photomontage entitled, “Me and the Cat,” while holding Minna in her arms.
How could I refuse to comply?
So, there they are–my two catgirls, Morganna and Minnaloushe, cooking up mischief and looking smashing together.
Over at Farmgirl Fare, see the new orange kitty. Claire’s Kiri is looking pensive this week at Eat Stuff. And then, there is Kits, the manly cat at Boo’s place at Masak-Masak.

Is this a permanent move?
Awesome picture – I still can’t believe she’s a teenager!

Yes, Amy–it is permanent. The girl is finally home.
Thanks, Stephanie!
Boo–Minna and Morganna used to sit up on Minna’s cat tree together–the kid liked to perch like a demented monkey up there. She is too big to do it now, which is probably just as well.
Morganna wore that hoodie to death, and then went out and bought herself another one to replace it. You can get them at Hot Topic stores or on their website. They make them to fit grownups, too….
If I can find the picture I was going to post from last Christmas, I will post it for the next cat blogging extravaganza, as Morganna said I needed to let people know what she looks like now. It is another moment between cat and girl, which is terribly cute, but in a completely different way.
That is all I will say on it, now.
